Lakes of Bangalore

Check out the background of this photograph. You can see a part of a lake. The present Bagmane Tech park was built in the middle of this Lake. Only a small portion of the lake survived and this was fenced off. Only after working in a place like this you realize what it means to have a house near a lake. But sadly, the lakes of Bangalore are dying.

The tree that you see behind me is a fig tree and is home to many Birds. I am not a bird watcher but one of my friends is. He used to love watching and identifying the birds on this tree.
