Finally my IPTV Installation

Finally I got my IPTV Connection. The guys from IOL came on Friday night. They used my laptop to check the line speed. The line speed showed 1056 Kbps, they said anything about 1000 is fine for IPTV to work.
Once they checked the line speed they took the Amino 125 settop box from its packing. The box seemed brand new. They pulled 20 meters of able from my ADSL modem located in my bedroom to my set top box. The input to the TV is a composite able with three pins red, white and yellow. My IPTV is seen in AV Channel 2.
Once they installed the IPTV it worked for some time and then went dead. I made a call to IOL and they came the next day morning and replaced the settop box with a new one. The old one seemed to be defective - be wary of defective set top boxes. I think they flash the original Amino 125 settop boxes and so some of them gets damaged in the process.
As of now my IPTV connection is working fine. There are some things however that you will need to get used to.
1> If you change the channels very fast, you might end up with two feeds to the TV screen which can be jumbed. You will have to reboot the settop box.
2> Start the settop box only after the amber light (on a Hwawei MT841 ADSL Modem) comes on. Otherwise you will end up with a jumbed sceen.
I get 60 channels now, IOL said that very soon, I will have 150 Channels. They seem to be digitizing the channels.
